Meet Isabelle Lieblein | Engineer and Digital Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Isabelle Lieblein and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isabelle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was seeing how much was wrong with the fashion industry and wanted to change it by setting an example of what a company could be.
What should our readers know about your business?
When I first started my business I was all in, environmentalism and the fashion industry consumed my thoughts. I wanted to be the change and make a difference while also getting to be creative. The main challenge was I was still in school but I managed that through making sure to find a balance between my business and social life, still making time to spend with others. The main challenge that ended with me shutting down my business was what I wanted to do in life. I wanted to travel and see the world but you can’t do that when you’re busy shipping out orders. Everytime I went on a trip I had to shut down my business and it was hard to start back up again. So this is what led me to shut it down and then my whole world shifted to travel consuming me and me starting new passions! Now I am a content creator and just talk about my life online including travel, the crafts I’m making in my home, beauty, etc.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live just outside of Detroit and one of the best parts of this area is the amazing food in Dearborn, Michigan. I would have to take them to all of the luxurious middle eastern cafes! Then I would have to take them to the Detroit Institute of Art, I even met someone who traveled from Italy just to go to this art museum! There are always cool art festivals going on so I’d have to take them there and to this insanely huge farmers market in downtown Detroit. Lastly, if they have their passport, we’d have to hop over to Canada for some poutine cause it’s only 30 minutes away.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d really like to thank my parents for encouraging me and believing in me no matter what crazy new idea I have! They’ve told me I could do anything and because of that I’ve set my heart on so many different passions!
