We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaiah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Life is so bland and so negative sometimes, I try my best to make it so my brand and the work I do reflects a bright and positive experience / outlook. I love being able to make one perfect moment be cherished for a lifetime

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I focus heavily on creating an experience for my clients that they will remember. Not just looking at the photos and smiling, imagining and reliving the experience in which the photo was taken is my sole goal. There is easy parts and there are hard parts but it is never consistent and to anybody out there trying to do something they love. Don’t give up, you are the only thing that can stop you.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live right in between LA / SD and so there are endless things to do being so close to big cities. Exploring and being in the presence of one another is one of the experiences that you can get anywhere. So hanging out at a park or going bowling just anything where you sit back and think, wow this is fun or relaxing etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My teacher Mr. Kusayanagi pushed me very hard and ensured that I would succeed if I really wanted it. Nothing was just handed to us and that was one of the main things that drove me. The outlook that he has on life and the way that he treats his students is better than you will find anywhere.
