We had the good fortune of connecting with Jackie Phan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jackie, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want my legacy to be a stamp on generational curses. I want people to look at me and think if she can do it, so can I. Because I am far from perfect. I want people to remember the process of an organic business. Working with clients from my bedroom to now my own spot. God forbid but if I left this earth today, I would hope that my business was able to save souls, make at least one person feel special, positively impact my clients and my peers.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Art has always been a passion of mine. It is the most frustrating, time consuming, and sometimes difficult skill to perfect, however I would never trade it for anything else. Some days Ill make what I consider a masterpiece and some days I can’t even draw a simple rose. I know what sets me apart from others is that I genuinely care about the service and happiness of my clients, if they let me I will re-draw the rose 400 times until it’s absolutely perfect. I want the world to know that my business is more than just beauty, it is experience, it is a memory, it is a life-changing event. We can love we can laugh we can eat we can get glamed up we can talk about God all in just one sitting.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Korean barbecue. We’re going to Koreatown, we’re eating and we’re gonna have maybe one or two drinks.. lol we’re going to the beach we’re going to Malibu we’re going parasailing, and then we’re going skydiving! Welcome to LA girl 🤪 The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my family. Stacey, Lili, Wasim, Jiovani and Azaylia!!! . If it wasn’t for y’all I don’t know where I would be. You guys are the people that push me, mentor me, comfort me, and give me wisdom. We moved to LA from a small town. We started from scratch, and I love and appreciate that we never give up. I love that each day, we get closer to our purpose!
