We had the good fortune of connecting with Jad and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jad, how does your business help the community?
At J&R our brand’s ethos revolves around the concept that each luxury purchase made changes the life of someone else. We provide 6% of all sales to our network of Non-Governmental Organizations. These include but are not limited to the United Nations, MSF(doctors without borders) and smaller organizations based upon what is needed in the current environment. One of the proudest achievements we have been able to make in collaboration with our customers is providing relief to the children of Yemen during the COVID-19 crises that came during a wave of famine, destruction and war
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I believe a large part of the reason our customers love J&R, is because we focus less on profits and more on customers. Many companies especially larger ones have certain policies they adhere to just to increase profits whenever they can. New generations of entrepreneurs are beginning to realize that when you put the customer first(whether it comes to free exchanges or discounts if a delivery is delayed) naturally higher profits will follow! At J&R we think of profits and customers differently than many brands!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For this question I had to go back around 10 years! When I was still in High School I had a teacher – Mr. Coffee who instilled the idea that his students should always live ambitious yet also always give back to their community. This “magic equation” has stuck with me and most of his students since then! Cheers to Mr Coffee!
