We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Del Toro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is consistency. I’ve always kept a certain goal in mind that has kept me focused and determined to succeed.

You also have to genuinely love what you do, if you don’t have a passion for what you do, you won’t have that natural desire to keep pushing forward when things get hard.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The main themes of my blog are beauty, lifestyle, and fashion. It is a reflection of me and the things I love. My page has always been a fun outlet for me, it allows me to stay creative and excited about things that I enjoy.

I’m most proud of collaborating with some of my favorite brands including Forever 21, SKIMS, and FashionNova. It’s crazy to think that out of all the content creators out there, I was lucky enough to get noticed.

It’s been rewarding, but definitely not easy. There were many times when I wanted to give up.

What people don’t realize is that it takes a LOT of time, work, and consistency to run a blog. In the beginning, I would spend every weekend recording content, only to get very little engagement. There were many times when it felt like the work I put in went unnoticed. But ultimately, everything was worth it when I started getting emails asking me to collaborate with some of my favorite brands!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Culver City- so I’m pretty central to a lot of amazing places in LA.

For coffee and morning avocado toast, I’m a huge fan of Bravo Toast in West Hollywood.

For Lunch, I’d have to say Élephante is my top choice. The whipped eggplant is unreal.

For dinner, my favorite spots are Pasta Sisters (Culver City) and Forma (Santa Monica).

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my family for always believing in me and pushing me forward.

My dad is one of the hardest workers I know. Whenever I feel unmotivated or stagnant in life, I can always count on him for a pep talk.

My mom, sister, and aunts are also the best therapists anyone could ask for. They are always willing to listen and let me express how I’m feeling.

I also have such amazing friends that are always supporting me and encouraging me. It means a lot when people believe in you.
