We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I grew up wanting to be a vet but soon realized that sick animals and math weren’t my thing! So I fell on the idea of becoming a Pet Stylist! Dogs and creative grooming suits me so well. I can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t have animals or an obsession with wild colors. This career path came so naturally to me, I enjoy the time not only with the animals but with their parents, I love helping people keep their fur babies looking like themselves and clean once again for some big cuddles!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a Pet Stylist, I learned everything I know from MerryField School of Pet Grooming where I learned from so many certified groomers with their own established skills. I soon fell in love in creative grooming and poodles and poms! About a year into my career I flew to LA on a whim, and started working at Orangebone in 2016, I’m still there today!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Little Tokyo! Rakken ramen has the best takoyaki!! So much Japanese culture and cute things! I love it there!
