Hi Jeehye, what makes you happy? Why?
Creating art brings me immense happiness, especially when I utilize various surfaces as my canvas. As a tattooist, I find that human skin has become my preferred medium. The process of expressing my creativity through art captivates my entire focus, and the resulting satisfaction is unparalleled.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey as an artist began in my early childhood, where I discovered my passion for drawing. Throughout my life, I held a deep desire to pursue a career that allowed me to express my artistic abilities fully. It was during this search that I stumbled upon the world of tattooing, and instantly, I knew it was my dream job. What sets my art apart is its uniqueness. I strive to create designs that are distinct and carry a special touch that resonates with each individual client. Every tattoo I create is a fusion of their ideas, my artistic vision, and the intricate techniques I’ve honed over the years. This combination allows me to produce works that are truly one-of-a-kind.
Getting to where I am today professionally was not an easy path. I faced numerous challenges along the way, including mastering the technical aspects of tattooing, establishing a strong client base, and overcoming self-doubt. However, through sheer determination and a relentless pursuit of improvement, I managed to overcome these obstacles. I dedicated countless hours to refining my skills, learning from experienced tattooists, and pushing myself beyond my comfort zone.
The lessons I’ve learned on this journey have been invaluable. I discovered the importance of perseverance, embracing failures as opportunities for growth, and continuously seeking knowledge. Each challenge I encountered served as a stepping stone towards my growth as an artist.
In terms of my brand and story, I want the world to know that my art is a reflection of my passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Every tattoo I create carries a piece of my artistic soul, and I strive to provide my clients with an unforgettable experience. I aim to create art that not only adorns the skin but also becomes a meaningful part of their personal journey..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When it comes to showing my best friend the best time ever in Los Angeles, it’s all about experiencing the vibrant and diverse offerings that make this city truly unique.

Los Angeles is renowned for its thriving art scene, and a visit to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) would be a must. With its impressive collection spanning various artistic periods and genres, my friend would be captivated by the masterpieces and thought-provoking exhibitions on display..

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation and dedicate a special shoutout to my husband. He is not only my life partner but also an incredible source of support, inspiration, and guidance. In our relationship, he assumes the roles of my best friend, mentor, teacher, and even my most honest critic. His keen insight and understanding have played an instrumental role in shaping my journey and accomplishments. I am forever grateful for his unwavering presence and the significant impact he has had on my life.
