We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Klawitter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, how does your business help the community?
I started doing photography because I want to make all people feel positive about themselves. I believe that culture has truest destroyed the definition of beauty for many people. Social media is definitely working on building people back up, but it still only represents/celebrates such a small demographic of people. I myself take pride in genuinely loving each of my clients, and taking the time to get to know them. It’s so important that we take the time to empower each other in a society that is constantly trying to break people down for “not being enough”.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I pride myself in keeping my editing to maintain the natural beauty of the individual. I want people to see the images I create and be excited that it’s captured their truth.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to LA we would start by going to SkyHigh, then onto eating and just vibing through out the whole week. For me, not being from LA, I wake up and instantly feel grateful for the sunshine and environment. As long as we’re outside moving around we’re sure to be having a great time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
