We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenny Chase and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenny, what do you attribute your success to?
While the success of my company took effort and drive I also felt divinely guided to follow the opportunities that were laid in front of me twenty five years ago. I always tell young people that when it’s the right career path the universe aligns to make it happen. I’m forever grateful. I recently wrote a book about a spiritual experience I had in 2019 and in a similar way I felt I was being guided to go on this journey and guided to write about it.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Both with my showrooms in New York and Los Angeles, with collections from Italy and India, the boutique trade show that I organize in New York and Paris, the cashmere collection that I design in Nepal where a portion of the proceeds goes to a children’s charity to take them off the street and out of slavery, the dress collection I design in India where a portion of the proceeds goes to an ashram in central India to help feed the children, my retail partnerships and with the book that I recently wrote I can’t say it has always felt easy but as a rule I choose to consider whatever comes in front of me.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to practice yoga. I love visiting the Self-Realization Fellowship. I love hiking and Will Rogers State Park. I love having dinner at my house with friends. I love meditating at Siddha Yoga ashram. I love bike riding on the beach.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
While I feel inspired at times by the creativity of others I feel most grateful for my spiritual practice and my connection to divinity.
