Hi Jeremy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?

I started my own company after gaining invaluable experience in the roofing industry. Growing up in a family roofing business, I learned the ropes early on, mastering the craft and understanding the intricacies of the trade. However, my ambition drove me to venture out on my own at a young age.

Throughout my career, I’ve worn multiple hats – from selling roofs for high-end roofing businesses to spearheading the roofing division for a solar company handling significant volume. These experiences taught me not only the technical aspects of roofing but also the importance of structure and efficient management in handling large-scale projects.

Moreover, witnessing how big companies sometimes exploit homeowners further fueled my determination. Drawing from the lessons instilled by my grandfather’s work ethic, I amalgamated my diverse expertise and ethical values to establish my own roofing business.

By blending years of industry knowledge, management skills, and a commitment to integrity, my company strives to provide top-notch roofing solutions while prioritizing customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One of the most significant factors that set us apart is our innovative approach to roof replacement alternatives. We offer solutions that can save our customers up to 80% compared to traditional roof replacements. This provides cost-effective options and demonstrates our commitment to finding sustainable and efficient solutions for our clients. In essence, our business distinguishes itself through its family-oriented approach, commitment to transparency, innovative solutions, and unwavering dedication to customer care and communication. These qualities form the foundation of our ethos and drive us to continually raise the bar in the roofing industry.

Despite being part of a lineage deeply ingrained in the roofing trade, I took a leap of faith by venturing out on my own at a young age. However, this decision proved to be fraught with challenges, and I faced numerous setbacks along the way. Yet, it was through these hardships that I learned some of the most valuable lessons of my career. Moreover, one of the most significant challenges I confronted was the need to set aside my ego and remain open to learning from others. Recognizing that I still had much to learn, I humbled myself and sought guidance from individuals who were far more successful than I was. This willingness to be teachable and adaptable proved to be transformative. By absorbing insights from seasoned professionals and emulating their strategies while infusing them with my own personal touch, I was able to refine my approach and elevate my business to new heights.

You can never go wrong with Uptown Whittier, from fresh Oysters at The Crooked Gaff, to fine dining at the Nixon, even getting home smelling like cigars from Havana House. I would always recommend Uptown Whittier where all are welcome even my buddy Steve.

My success is rooted in the values instilled by my family, including my grandfather’s work ethic and my grandmother’s selflessness, which guide me in entrepreneurship.
