We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Naylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Other than deciding to work for myself, the single most important decision that I’ve made and continue to make each day is Trusting The Process. Every day brings challenges that can either be seen as road blocks or pathways. Making the conscious choice to always view what’s in front of me as The Way makes it possible to stay in flow and not feel the need to force things. This has made all the difference in building my businesses and my all other aspects of my life.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe that everything we do in life is art. Whether it’s our businesses, our personal relationships, or our relationship to self, it all takes balance, awareness, and grace. Like everyone, I’ve struggled through many situation where I’ve ignored my intuition, and let my mind take precedence. A big part of my success and personal growth has come from understanding myself more and learning to trust myself more.
What I would like the world to know about Seventh Sea is that we only exist to help people and our environment. The spirit of the company is entirely about giving back and doing what’s right. There’s a change happening, that again comes back to balance, and it’s one concerning the relationship between each other, ourselves, and the planet; how we consume, create, and how our economies operate. We can no longer go on they way we have, using our resources and each other without a second thought, and mother nature is showing us that more and more. And she’ll continue to.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was in town we would spend a lot of time with other friends and family and in nature . Hikes in Malibu, surfing Leo Carillo and all the other great breaks in the area. Spend some time in Topanga doing yoga and playing music. Catch a concert at the Greek Theatre. Visit Griffith Observatory and the Getty Museum.
