Hi Jessica, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being brave!”

I wrote this down in my journal to remind myself to take chances. ‘Perfectionism’ has (and sometimes still does!) stand in my way and this affirmation encourages me to step outside of my boundaries. No one is usually harder on ourselves than us. There is more self-growth and self-love in being brave as opposed to being perfect… and isn’t that what we should really strive for?

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of Spirit Explorations – a different and more holistic approach to healing and solving issues through different modalities offered: Hypnotherapy. Past Life Regressions. Future Life Progressions. Life in Between Lives. Akashic Record Readings. Kundalini Reiki treatments.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Santa Monica, so I would definitely, DEFINITELY take them down to the beach first and foremost and then for a stroll through palm tree laced lane in Palisades Park. I would suggest biking to the Venice Canals, stopping to see the street performers and musicians along the way. Another day I would reserve for hiking, Los Leones trail is one of my favorite! For the evenings, I’d recommend a nice place to get some drinks and see the sunset, I really like the happy hour and the view from the Huntley Hotel rooftop in Santa Monica. Other evening ideas could to catch a comedy show at the Comedy Store or to see if SoFar Sounds is hosting any of their small and intimate musical events. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others.
