We had the good fortune of connecting with Jewelzz Patrick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jewelzz, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I took risk by betting on myself and going all in this time with my brand monetarily it was a big risk with the money especially with a small budget but it was definitely worth the risk I have substantially made more ground than I ever have with my brand and achieving shooting an video that is well industry polished amongst other various career achievements that I hadn’t achieved before, and gaining more impact on my audience fan base.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Jewelzz Patrick is an emerging Neo-Soul and Jazz Hop artist whose music channels the spirit of Detroit’s legendary musical heritage while carving a distinct lane in modern soul. Born and raised in the Motor City—home to the timeless sounds of Motown and a deep-rooted jazz tradition—Jewelzz grew up surrounded by music. As the son of a professional jazz singer, he was immersed in rich melodies, live musicianship, and soulful storytelling from an early age, influences that would ultimately shape his artistic identity.

Blending the warmth of classic jazz with the rhythm and authenticity of hip-hop, Jewelzz Patrick crafts a sound that lives at the intersection of neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, and funk. His music carries the elegance of traditional soul while embracing contemporary production, resulting in grooves that feel both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Each track reflects his dedication to musicianship and his respect for the lineage of Black American music that helped define Detroit’s global cultural impact.

With smooth vocal textures, laid-back rhythms, and a deep appreciation for musical tradition, Jewelzz Patrick is steadily establishing himself as a voice within the new generation of soul-influenced artists. His work bridges eras—honoring the sound that raised him while introducing a fresh perspective that resonates with today’s listeners.

I most proud of my most recent record From another life time ft. Khane the wav and the video of it I shot in Miami art Basel week.
It was not easy to get to where I am now having to strategize a low budget to make it work, definitely a faith walk to deal with many challenges. Many lessons I learned is keep high vibrating people around you thats gonna keep watering your gifts for you to win. I want the world to fall in love again through my music from my melodies to my lyrics and carve my own lane leaving a generational impact on the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Best food places I would take them, if they came to Detroit style pizza, Buddy’s pizza, coney island for a coney dog, best soul food place, Motown Museum, Ford motor company museum, African-American museum, Under ground rail road museum etc.
