We had the good fortune of connecting with Jo Nuñes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jo, what do you attribute your success to?
My relentlessness, resilience and determination is what sets me apart from others when it comes to my success. I have been through 3 lifetimes in 1 lifetime. Instead of choosing fear, i choose love. Growing a business, let a lone starting a business takes a lot of learning, talking less and listening more, time, patience and most importantly consistency. In order to start anything new in life and have it be successful, you need a certain mindset and that takes work. Once you know yourself, know who you are and are honest with yourself, you will not only have a successful brand, but you will have a happy life!
What should our readers know about your business?
JUST HEAL WITH JO is the union between YOGA, LIFE COACHING , TANTRIC SEX, ENERGY HEALING/REIKI and RELATIONSHIP COACHING. It makes me so exited because my approach to healing my clients is unconventional. It allows me to dive deeper with my clients through my special techniques and systems that i have created, as oppose to a traditional route that other practitioners use. My job is not for you as the client to sit down in a couch as i take notes on everything you tell me, nor is my approach to give you medication and send you on your way. Instead, JUST HEAL WITH JO takes you on a journey to self healing, inner growth and a life living in divinity. Getting here wasn’t easy. Why? Because when i needed help I couldn’t find the right combination of what i was seeking. so i did my own research and taught myself how to heal, grow, learn, unlearn and embody my authenticity 100%. There were so many challenges on the way. I intentionally went into hibernation so i could purge and cleanse. I had no intention of creating my own licensed practice. I just knew that i needed a lot of things in my life to change so i started going within myself.
My natural gift is to heal people. They are naturally drawn towards me, but the self work that i did on myself was the light bulb moment. “IF I CAN DO ALL OF THIS GROWTH ON MY OWN, I CAN HELP OTHER PEOPLE BY CREATING AN OUTLET FOR THEM: ME!”
I taught myself everything from business to marketing, social media, PR, videography and more. The secret sauce is to fall in love with the process and don’t think of it as work. This next thing is very important to remember: IF YOU AREN’T FINDING THE LOVE IN YOUR PRACTICE/BUSINESS, then you need to ask yourself why are you spending your time doing something that doesn’t bring you joy? and if you do love your business then it comes down to digging deeper and separating your emotions from making strategic decisions that’s going to benefit your business.
Creating a business comes in steps. I learned so much along the way. One of those things is not getting attached to ideas. They come and go and they may either help or hurt your business depending on what that idea is. Another lesson is there is a difference between an inventor and an entrepreneur. If you are an inventor, its organic for you to be stuck in the mindset of “create, create, create”. If you’re an Entrepreneur, you’ll be able to keep it moving if an invention isn’t working. A third lesson would be to DELIGATE! You simply cannot do everything yourself. It actually will hurt your business in the long run.
I want you guys to know that everything that you do in life, business wise or personally, make sure to do it from a place of LOVE and not DESPERATION. YOU ARE IN FULL CONTROL OF YOUR OWN LIFE!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am so grateful for all the support that i have and have had throughout my success, it’s because of mentors (whom you can learn from as well) such as Queen Aqua, Jay shetty, Bob Igor, Sarah Blakely, Gary Vee, Muata Ashby, Dr Sebi, Mantak Chia and of course amazing family and friends that i have accomplished so much! It has been a journey full of humility! Thank you to every single one of you!
