We had the good fortune of connecting with Jonas Gaida and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jonas, how do you think about risk?
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” ― Helen Keller, The Open Door I love this quote because that is exactly what I strive for. Being stuck in the so-called “comfort zone” is your biggest enemy. Taking risks means to expand your mindset, grow your personal life and take business decisions which might not always be easy. I have been taking risks in all aspects of my life. Leaving my family and friends in Germany in order to move to Los Angeles and pursue a career not knowing what the outcome might be. Spending thousands of dollars on equipment and camera gear hoping that this is going to elevate my business and allowing me to earn even more money. If I would not have taken any risks in my life I would not be at the position where I am at right now. If there is no struggle, there is no progress. You only grow as a person if you push yourself. Everyone who is reading this, I encourage you to start thinking more critical. Please implement habits and things into your life which might feel uncomfortable at first. Trust me. The adventure is exciting.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
G-Studios is a full-fledge media production company committed to provide the most innovative and highest standard of work. We, at G-Studios, offer any type of visual content creation from music videos, commercials, event films to photoshoots, product photography and even graphic and animation work. The biggest lesson I have learned over the past year is to build a strong, sophisticated and trusted team to ensure the best possible results and fastest turnaround times for our clients. 4 years ago, I started G-Studios as a one man show. Now, I am proud to say that the G-Studios is constantly expanding and evolving with over 5+ team members as of right now. I am excited and very optimistic for a successful future of the company creating stunning visuals for our valued clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love living in Los Angeles, the weather is always good and there are so many fun places to visit. If my best friend would be visiting I’d definitely show him the beach, do the Hollywood hike and eat at restaurants like Cecconi’s, Zinqué and Koi in West Hollywood.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Huge shoutout to my girlfriend (Zoe Marais) who has been helping me 24/7 on elevating my personal life as well as supporting me on taking major business decisions to grow my film production company G-Studios. I would not be where I am at today if she would not be there supporting me.
