We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Iverson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, what principle do you value most?
The principle that matters most to me is consistency, because without it, it is very hard to move the needle and progress your career. I have been on the other side where I wasn’t consistent and when you stop you basically start over, versus being consistent in your efforts and seeing things start to happen for you.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I just dropped a song called “Ziploc” and in the process of dropping another single titled “Say Less”. What sets me apart is I like to motivate my listeners, no the entire song is not motivational but elements of it is. I like to talk about the process, spending money to make money, and staying determined, but also have songs where I speak on the road blocks I have experienced. I feel being a creative is one of the most challenging ventures because people will judge your art and sometimes a lot of creatives go silent because they cannot take that judgement. How I overcame that is caring about my listener of course but building a strong backbone for the hate. I want the world to know anything you want to achieve is possible and even if you have a day job always put a few hours into your passion because its possible it can take you away from that 9-5 hustle. My brand @hustlemoresayless also has the motivation you need if you are stuck in a rut.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would start by hitting solstice canyon a hiking trail in Malibu that has some great views. We would spend the day in the studio creating content and songs.
Later on we would eat at Rappahanock in DTLA where @86yeschef goes crazy with the menu.
End the day back at the studio.
