I want people to remember that despite the pain I endured, my heart remained pure and never turned dark or bitter. The goodness within me stayed intact.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Having been born and raised in Oxnard, California, I truly feel blessed to live here. I’d love to take you to some of my favorite spots, like Channel Islands Marina, where our morning walks are nothing short of breathtaking. Meals—whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner—feel magical with the stunning backdrop. For exercise, we often hike up the beautiful mountain that offers panoramic views of our coastal beaches and shorelines. Our food scene is a melting pot of authentic cuisine from around the globe, adding to the charm of this incredible place.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughter has been a central and unwavering source of support since the day she was born. To her, I was a hero and protector, stepping into a role she believed I had already assumed. Little did she know how profoundly and positively she influenced and shaped my life.
