We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph Benjamin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joseph, what are you inspired by?
Creativity inspires me, and the truth is that we waste so much of our lives worrying about what we can’t do based on what others are doing. Being brave enough to be who you are, that’s the purest form of creativity our world knows.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

I consider myself a business and media strategist; of course, I also have a compulsive obsession for street culture, fashion, gossip, brands, and everything that influences, shapes, and guides cultural trends forward.
I believe work environments should be collaborative, where everyone has a say in the creative endeavor of a brand’s growth. My goal is growth and development both personally and professionally, and I strive to inspire my team. I believe entrepreneurship is the ability to make the impossible happen.
I have worked in the fashion & entertainment industry for over nine years, and I love it. I have more than seven years of experience in product design, retail marketing, and product placement in the media. My biggest accomplishment to date is that I was the lead publicist for, Netflix series Sense8, which has over 2 billion views worldwide and has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, Vulture, and Wired. Sense8 has three daytime Emmys and three Glad awards for Outstanding Limited Series. Last year, I had the pleasure to work with some of the biggest brands in fashion, beauty, and the ever-evolving jewelry industry. I have secured coverage in VOGUE, Harper Bazaar, BuzzFeed, and Cosmopolitan, to name a few.
I have secure press for reverie: Page Magazine, SBE Entertainment, Hood by Air, Valentino, Gussippi Zanotti; my most recent freelance client “Ayon, a millennial skincare band,” has been featured in Vogue, Nylon, and W Magazine.
It was a pleasure working with Harry Winston, and I coordinated all event logistics and publicity for the unveiling of the 2020 collection at the Beverly Hills location. I also assisted with celebrity placement at the 2020 Golden Globes.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
These days we spend most of our time indoors. I love to cook, so I’ll cook a fantastic meal. We also love a good Harry Potter Marathon.
