We had the good fortune of connecting with Judi Fox and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Judi, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Over the last 20 years, I have consulted for more than 100 Fortune 500 Companies and started 3 businesses which has offered many perspectives of success and failure. And the most important factor for success has been learning how to take fast intuitive action by setting “Feeling Goals.” Instead of doing the annual corporate style goal lists, I shifted to asking myself how I wanted to feel when I achieved those goals. Those feelings became my focus instead of my goals. I knew that I wanted to feel something when I looked back over my life and what I would see as success would be remembering how those moments of achievement felt. My personal brand skyrocketed to hit 3 million views in 8 months and over 100+ interviews, which resulted in a thriving consulting business when I shifted my focus towards “Feeling Goals”. This is why I started a podcast with the tag line “Level up your Business with Heart and Humor.” I believe long-term success comes more easily when you lean into your heart and find more humor in life by thinking about your goals for how you want to feel.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
After generating over 5 million views on LinkedIn in the last two years, I developed the LinkedIn Business Accelerator Method to get these same results for more businesses. Now over 200 of my clients are implementing this LinkedIn Method in order to achieve significantly more business. On average, clients are increasing their LinkedIn visibility by 200,000%. and they have generated over 1 million content views in just 90 days and are landing press features in Forbes, BBC News, and Thrive Global. What sets this business apart is clients are implementing a proven business sustainability system, built by a chemical engineer who loves standard operating procedures. This is needed especially during a difficult time in the midst of the pandemic where the future feels uncertain. Through LinkedIn Business Accelerator I am offering more people certainty by implementing this method to gain more attention online, and turn those exposures into opportunities to make more sales and convert thought leadership into leads. One of the biggest challenges was when I became a single parent in 2014 and started my life over at 38 moving over 1,000 miles, and faced numerous challenges with this sudden change. This forced me to focus on only one social media platform and get centered and concentrate on what was driving results and make that system easy to implement and repeat. The result of that concentrated focus and limitations turned into the LinkedIn Business Accelerator method. The result of focusing on LinkedIn business development, sales, and networking for four years from 2014 to 2018 was clear when I started creating content and hit 3 million views within eight months in 2018. I was invited on over 100 podcasts and to speak at events like VidSummit, Video Marketing World, Housing Wire, Content Marketing Conference, Social Media Week, and shared the stage with Gary Vaynerchuck, Pat Flynn, and Chalene Johnson.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am curious if this is LA (I used to live out in CA and love visiting LA), but I don’t live there now… let me know how you want me to answer this. I love going to Venice Beach and finding a restaurant along Venice Beach Boardwalk. When I go out to LA I also go camping and climbing out at Joshua Tree National park.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The most successful moments in life are when you can enjoy success together with others. I want to shout out Michaela Alexis who has been a significant part of my journey the past several years. She has been so generous with her support, referring opportunities, and partnering to develop masterclasses and content together. I have learned so much from her friendship and grateful for the time we have spent together discussing leadership and business experiences.
