We had the good fortune of connecting with Juicy Queen CoCo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Juicy Queen, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Deciding not to care what other people think – I think a lot of people get caught up in the opinion of others and it can stifle our growth and the ability to boldly walk into our life’s passion and purpose – When i gave up caring about others opinions it freed me up to be do and have whatever I wanted- unapologetically

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My life’s motto is : Create. Inspire others to be Great! Juicy Queen Coco is Art! God created me as such! What sets me apart is that as an overall visionary and artist, I work to inspire women to be comfortable and celebrate their bodies, celebrate their life and enjoy all of life‘s creativity as it relates to beauty, fashion, art and their overall lifestyle I was inspired by Sarah Baartman’s story and life- who I just so happen to be built just like her, with voluptuous curves and a ridiculously large butt naturally – My measurements are 40 – 30 – 55 Sarah Baartman was paraded as a circus act throughout Europe in the early 1800’s under the name ” Hottentot Venus” She was considered a freak show because of her build, voluptuous curves and ass, and although people admired her she was treated very poorly and was eventually killed by the default and disrespect of her handlers. Juicy Queen Coco is the revenge for how Sarah Baartman was treated. I am the modern day Sarah Baartman….but instead of being paraded and exploited by others I have taken that narrative and twisted it on its head to celebrate my beauty and body. I am art- I am a lifestyle tastemaker, and I want other women to know that no matter how voluptuous and curvy you may be – whatever body you are in….you are to be celebrated and appreciated as a “Juicy Queen! All of the fashion, beauty, events, art pieces and products that I curate or design are to enhance your beauty and freedom of expression and overall lifestyle

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the beach in general… a drive up the coast and spending some time in Malibu is always fun- I like to eat at Nobu.. I also love Yamashiro for the Hollywood views Melrose is always a go to for art inspiration as well as The Lost Warhols in the Beverly Center I’m into luxury experiences and beautiful atmospheres in general, as it elevates my mood and I like to do things that are fit for a queen

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to shout out my family and more specifically my daddy, Malcom Favors, that was recently killed ( Oct 20, 2020) in a tragic car accident. His example as a husband and father committed to our family gave me the foundation of discipline, consistency and black excellence.
