Meet Juliet Piper: Songwriter, Indie Artist, Mindset Coach for Creatives

We had the good fortune of connecting with Juliet Piper and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Juliet, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
If the desire is still in your heart, that’s the nonnegotiable sign for me to keep going. I believe our desires are safe guidance, and anytime I’ve followed what I truly desire and trusted my intuition, it has always paid off and led to beautiful things. I think sometimes we reference our outside circumstances as a sign to move forward or jump ship, but I always think it’s better to look inward because you never know when you may be ONE day away from the major breakthrough. Plus, the pursuit is SO fun!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am obsessed with writing songs, supporting other creatives, and re-connecting people to their inner magic. I dance between releasing my own songs as an artist, writing for other artists/projects, and acting as a creative mindset coach and mentor. I also co-host the Goddess Hangs podcast where we chat ALL about mindset, manifestation, and all sorts of magical things! In the way that sharks have to keep swimming or else they sink, I must constantly be creating something. I am a big advocate of doing what you WANT to do in life rather than what you feel you SHOULD do. It’s so important to be brave, push yourself, and take risks. The more you do it, the more it becomes second nature. I love reminding myself daily that everything is possible and that the better it gets the better it gets.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My ideal day would be: Drive through Topanga and stop at Hidden Treasures then go the rest of the way through the canyon to the ocean. Keep an eye out for dolphins 🙂 I’m a big Topanga/beach/nature girl. For dinner, head over to at El Coyote and get an amazing meal under the unchanged twinkle lights since they opened decades ago. Look at all the headshots in their lobby with awe. At night, dance your heart out at Cliftons in DTLA and move between the big dance floor, the live swing dance room, and the hidden tiki bar. (Can you tell I miss the city being open!?)
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am super grateful for the work of Manifestation Babe and Amanda Frances in my journey to realizing what’s possible for me as a person, artist, and a female entrepreneur. I highly recommend their teachings! I’m also a big fan of my BFF Sadie Olson (@iamsadieolson) who I am lucky enough to have a podcast (Goddess Hangs) with! She is the queen of high vibe energy, manifestation coaching, and all sorts of magic. Check her out too!
