We had the good fortune of connecting with Justice Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justice, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Standing on Business.
Being a Salon owner & Stylist there have been many of times I’ve compromised my rules, regulations, standards, principles & values to accommodate others. The challenge that I’ve faced have been seriously sticking to the regulations I’ve set for professionalism. Doing business and being professional goes both ways between client and stylist and as I always say stylist pick their clients just as much as clients pick their stylist. For stylist were able to filter through the crowd and attract clients that align perfectly with us by the way we set our policies and clients pick their stylist by checking out the stylist work and by reading the policies thoroughly.
As much as I’d like to accommodate everyone I know that’s unrealistic. Now I set boundaries for myself and only bend my back for those who are loyal to me like my VIP subscribers or my loyal clients that’s been with me 3+years.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I own Justice Hair Care, & Co own Kulture Krib.
I love to call myself an artist of Hair because I style each of my clients crown ( hair ) to match their personal style !
I am a Holistic Master Braid Stylist and Loctician . I pride myself by using Only Black owned products to recycle to Black dollar that are Organic and healthy for your hair ! I do extensive research to ensure the products I use don’t have alcohol that strips the hair of its health rather fatty alcohols that add healthy benefits to the follicles! I am an educational stylist and sometimes my clients have to tell me to “ just do they hair” cause I explain everything I use in detail and why I use it! I love what I do and I’m told it shows every-time I speak about it. The challenge I’m given as a holistic stylist is sometimes I’ll get that one client that heard I am good at hair growth and retention and wants me to do their hair but they don’t want to do what it takes in the after care maintenance to maintain healthy hair.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to eat so I would take them to my favorite food places ! Like Tutto Fresca ( drive thru Italian restaurant) ; Claw Zone ( best seafood boil on the west coast hands down) ; Sould Food Renaissance ( best soul food spot ever – thank me later frfr I get smothered Turkey everytime! )

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would first and foremost give all praise and glory to God for being my #1 supporter and backbone.
I’d also like to thank my new biz partner Dani @prettygirlcentral for teaming up with me to create our new baby Kulture Krib Salon & Studios
Special shout out to my Gma Pat ( rip) & unc Lon , my momma, sister & mentor Su’meijko for always supporting me giving kind words of wisdom and helping me get to where I’m am now without y’all I couldn’t have made it this far!

I wanna thank me for never quitting. I wanna thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive. I wanna thank me for trying to do more right than wrong.
