We had the good fortune of connecting with K. Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi K., how does your business help the community?
Media in any genre is needed for the world in the general sense. Ken Chronicles Media offers exclusive news (locally and worldwide), music content, interviews, audio podcast, culinary and a host of other viable content for consumers. Everyone has different lenses in which they view media, KCM is dedicated to presenting the highest quality of content.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The optics in which I perceive life is what sets my creativity/art apart from others. I have always had a vast imagination and combined with my technical writing ability, it allows me to ‘sit inside of a box and work from all 4 corners’. Multifaceted. I’m excited about the future and learning more aspects of journalism and adding a battery pack to my creativity lol, you can’t allow your creativity to lose any charge. Professionally, today, I am thriving through God’s good graces and hard work. Now, has it been easy? YES & NO. It’s been easy because of my discipline, but there have been challenges that have made me stronger- for sure. I have learned many lessons through my journey thus far, one notable lesson is: don’t get too comfortable with being comfortable because situations will occur and adaptability is key.
I want my work to speak for itself and when asked about, I want my answers to NOT contradict my work. There is a uniqueness to my story and each piece of content that is published, will eventually unveil more of my life- I hope to be a blessing through my life’s narrative to the world.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them to the food attractions that are available in the city. Food is an imperative part of travel, and I would want them to experience every restaurant/food vendor as possible. There would be time made to see historical sites, both urban and not. But honestly, LA is a big place with a lot of land to cover, the itinerary would have to be concise but we cold make it work!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to FIRST thank God for allowing me to present my talents and work to the world. Ahhhh, where do we start?! Well, growing up, I was exposed to the importance of reading, writing and comprehension. From there, I developed a vast interest in journalism: interviews of every genre, articles, documentaries etc. There is one person in particular who recognized my ability to write vividly and encouraged me to pursue it- my 12th grade Creative Writing Teacher. MRS. JONES.
