We had the good fortune of connecting with Keith Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keith, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart. I know that sounds cliché and you hear that from every business owner my age. But it’s true. In high school I found ways to sell things and make money on the side of working a normal job. Some of the things I did were the smart and legal… while others weren’t. Either way, they all served for a great lesson by the end and helped me realize really where I wanted to end up. By the time I was in college I knew that I wanted the lifestyle and freedom of an entrepreneur. I honestly knew that before college, but after working a few jobs in different industries while attending college. it confirmed my desire. Not only that, I couldn’t stand working for somebody else or the thought of working for the same company for years just to climb the ranks. Why spend so much time working for somebody else’s company would I could create my own? I wanted to spend the time fulfilling my dreams of building a huge company that will add value to its customers and employees.
What should our readers know about your business?
Exclusive PR is full service PR agency specializing in Press within online Publications & Podcast guest features. What sets us apart is the connections we have within the industry. Everything we offer we can guarantee placement or feature. While other agencies work as a middle man or only have the ability to “pitch” your story to media outlets and podcasts. The PR industry is booming right now with a lot of people making the transition from digital marketing into the PR space. We have learned a ton along the way. I could go into so much detail but to keep it surface level, the service based industry as a whole is a challenging yet rewarding space to be in. Lots of challenges and hurdles to hop through along the way but when each clients article gets published or podcast feature goes live it makes it all worth it!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am still very young and no where near where I want to be in life & business. But I am super grateful for everything I have been able to achieve, experience and do up to this point. I didn’t get here by myself. I owe so much to so many people!
First off I owe it all to my Lord & Savior above.
My amazing wife Amelia that keeps me grounded and never stops believing in me no matter how big my dreams get.
My parents for supporting me and being there for me whenever I face a challenge no matter the size.
I have so many great friends that I could shout out but I will try and keep it short.
Max Muir for being a big mentor in business, being a true example setter, and a great friend all around.
Michael Hummel for providing me with the tools & connections to start my first successful service based business.
Mario Sarceno for being another mentor, example setter in multiple areas and always being available for questions.
Jared Marchel for being the most encouraging person on planet earth and believing in me the most right behind my wife.
Nathan Pershall for being a true connector as well as a prime example of how to be a great Entrepreneur, family man and follower of Jesus Christ.
Kelsey Gardner in being a huge asset on our new business project. Stoked to announce that!
I could go on and on but I’ll cut it at that as I’m sure I will be shouting out many others on the long journey ahead!
