We had the good fortune of connecting with Kierra Khan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kierra, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
For many years, I knew I wanted to start a company dedicated to empowering women. The pandemic has been a transformative time for many of us. It left me longing for a since of community. I noticed there was a crucial piece missing in the educational space. There are so many incredible guru’s and instructors but no one talks about the inner work it takes to be successful.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I view my self as a storyteller. I like to utilize many mediums. Music is by far my favorite thing to create. I began making music because I wanted to heal others the way it healed me. Unfortunately, I have struggled with chronic pain for most of my life. As an entertainer, my health has been a huge obstacle. I look forward to helping others heal in any way I can whether it is through my music, my words or simply my presence. I want prove you can have anything you set your mind to.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love spending time in nature. Malibu has the best restaurants, hikes and beaches. I can’t get enough. Definitely one of my favorite places to spend time with friends.Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Reading “The Power of your Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy was really eye opening. I gained tools to take control of my mind and realized I have everything I need within. I no longer have space for doubt and fear. I am now dedicated to living a life of gratitude. By making simple mindset shifts I can achieve my wildest dreams. The possibilities are endless.
