We had the good fortune of connecting with Kim Lara and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kim, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m a local native of LA. I was born and raised for most of my life until I moved near the Santa Clarita area, and then back to Los Angeles. My upbringing definitely made a big impact in my life and shaped me into the person I’m currently. I’m a huge dog person, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that I’ve always had dogs and every other type of pet since I was 2 years old. My life has definitely made me stronger, more resilient and wiser for sure.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Currently I haven’t done much except a short film last year during covid that was actually based of covid. This year I took the year off the modeling and acting industry to focus on my studies, I want to work in Law and Politics one day. But overall, I’ve definitely learned how hard the entertainment industry can be and having a strong backbone is essential to survive in that industry. A lot of people take that as being cruel to one another to be on top, I don’t believe in that.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s a little hiking area near where I work by Echo Mountain in Altadena, I would love to take them their first and after that get some brunch at Urth Cafe or Home Restaurant in Los Feliz. I love traveling, me and my significant other are always trying to look for places to go explore at. Recently we went on a big trip to Utah, I loved it and the little scary mysteries like Skin Walker ranch which we drove to go see. Unfortunately since it’s closed off we didn’t see much but we definitely got a weird vibe from it. We love going to try new food places too but sometimes we just love going back to the usuals like Home Restaurant or crazy rockin sushi by West Hollywood Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my fiancé, he’s an amazing human being and a wonderful actor
