We had the good fortune of connecting with LA Playground and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At our core, what sets us apart is our unwavering passion for what we do and our commitment to celebrating music and culture in a way that truly stands out. What makes us most proud and excited is the opportunity to uplift and support talented artists, particularly those within the Latino music scene, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and connect with audiences. We drew inspiration from the vibrant Miami Latino music scene, where a strong sense of unity and connection prevailed. Witnessing the concentration of Latino labels and collectives in Miami motivated us to strengthen the Latino music scene here in LA. Our main objective is to create a space for people to connect and enjoy music, regardless of their country or city.

Getting to where we are today professionally has been a journey filled with both triumphs and real challenges. We had to figure out how to connect with the Latino music scene and initially had doubts about filling our shows. But thanks to determination and perseverance, we overcame those hurdles and learned valuable lessons along the way. Now, we’ve successfully organized live shows multiple times, with sold-out events at venues like Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. These experiences have taught us the importance of resilience, adaptability, and the power of collaboration.

What we want the world to know about us is that we are more than just a brand – we are a community. We are passionate about creating immersive experiences that inspire, entertain, and bring people together. Our dedication to championing the vibrant Latino music scene and supporting artists reflects our commitment to fostering inclusivity, diversity, and unity through the universal language of music.

Our story is still unfolding, and we invite you to join us on this exciting journey. Together, let’s celebrate the magic of music, embrace our differences, and create unforgettable moments that resonate with people from all walks of life.
