Hi Lamont, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting a business in the entertainment industry can be exciting and rewarding, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. It’s important to have a genuine passion for the entertainment industry and a good understanding of the field you want to enter. Having expertise in areas such as music, film, gaming, or event management can greatly contribute to the success of your business.

Building strong connections within the entertainment industry is crucial. Attend industry events, join professional associations, and seek mentorship from experienced individuals who can provide guidance and open doors to opportunities.

Overall starting a business in any industry requires dedication, hard work, and perseverance. It’s essential to stay committed to your vision and be prepared for the ups and downs that come with entrepreneurship.

I am a Executive Producer for television shows. My role encompasses creative, financial, managerial, and strategic responsibilities. They play a crucial role in bringing a television series to life and ensuring its success both creatively and commercially.

What truly sets me apart as a television producer is my unique combination of skills, experiences, creative vision, and personal qualities. Continually honing my craft, staying informed about industry trends, and striving for excellence is what help me stand out in a competitive field.

Getting to a certain position in the entertainment industry typically requires a combination of factors, including talent, hard work, perseverance, and opportunities. Building connections within the industry is crucial. Networking with professionals, attending industry events, and forming meaningful relationships can lead to opportunities, collaborations, and mentorship. Leveraging these connections can help open doors and provide valuable guidance.

Regarding whether it was easy, Success rarely happens overnight, and it’s common to face rejection and setbacks along the way. However, the rewards and satisfaction that come with achieving milestones and pursuing your passion can make the journey worthwhile.. Everyone’s journey in the entertainment industry is unique, and the specific circumstances and experiences may vary.

Throughout my journey, I’ve encountered numerous challenges and setbacks, but I’ve never let those deter me. Instead, I’ve used those moments as opportunities for growth and learning. I want the world to know that perseverance and resilience have been key factors in reaching the level of success I have achieved today.

I’ve constantly sought out projects that push the boundaries of traditional storytelling, leveraging emerging technologies and platforms to connect with audiences in unique and immersive ways. Ultimately, I want the world to know that my journey in the entertainment industry is a reflection of my unwavering commitment to creating meaningful and transformative experiences. I hope to continue pushing the boundaries of creativity, inspiring others, and leaving a lasting impact on the industry and the audience.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles offers a plethora of exciting experiences, so if I were to put together an itinerary, it would look something like this.

Day 1: Arrival and Introduction to Hollywood

Start with a stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, taking in the iconic stars and landmarks.
Visit the TCL Chinese Theatre to see the handprints and footprints of famous celebrities.
Enjoy a delicious dinner at Musso & Frank Grill, a historic restaurant known for its classic Hollywood ambiance.

Day 2: Beaches and Local Cuisine

Head to Santa Monica Pier and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, rides, and beautiful ocean views.
Explore Venice Beach and its unique boardwalk, street performers, and funky shops.
For lunch, indulge in some fresh seafood at The Lobster, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3: Art and Culture

Spend the day at The Getty Center, a renowned art museum featuring a vast collection of masterpieces and breathtaking views of the city.

In the evening, catch a show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Day 4: Explore Downtown LA

Start with a visit to the historic Grand Central Market, offering a wide range of culinary delights from diverse cuisines.
Take a tour of the Broad Museum and immerse yourself in contemporary art and installations.
For dinner, experience the vibrant dining scene at LA Live in Downtown, with options like Yard House or Katsuya.

Day 5: Nature and Outdoor Activities

Take a hike in Griffith Park to enjoy stunning views of the city from the Griffith Observatory.
Spend the afternoon exploring the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and its diverse art collections.
End the day with dinner and drinks at Perch, a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the city skyline.

Day 6: Celebrity and Luxury

Of course, this itinerary only scratches the surface of what Los Angeles has to offer. The city is filled with diverse neighborhoods, cultural events, live music venues, and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. The key is to embrace the city’s unique energy and immerse yourself in the experiences that resonates.
