We had the good fortune of connecting with Lance Daniel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lance, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I took a huge risk by leaving my established law practice to move to L. A. to pursue a career in show business.

I knew no one and had no training in writing, acting or production.

I had faith I’d meet the right people and I have.

I believe one must dream big, go for it, and never fear rejection.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I say I’m a “teller of stories” because writing, acting, and producing are all story.

Im also an active trial lawyer who brings to life the stories of my clients.

I luv it!

The biggest lesson along the way is to have an attitude of gratitude. I feel grateful everyday.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A hike to The Wisdom Tree on Cahuenga Peak; a burger at Olympic Burger; a trip to The Getty; the Santa Monica pier; tour of Universal Studios and/or Warner Bros.; Disneyland; a drive up The PCH; coffee at Priscilla’s; Griffith Park Observatory; and many more.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are many to whom I’m grateful.

A few are: Actor-teacher-coach, Steve Eastin; Voice actor-coach, Joe Ochman; Teacher-coach, Brian Cutler; Writer, Michael Beall; soap opera star and writer of the original screenplay, The Deer Hunter, Quinn Redeker.
