We had the good fortune of connecting with LaQuesia Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LaQuesia, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
The most important thing I’ve intentionally done as a parent is be present. Not just physically present but emotionally present as well. I’ve made it a priority to give them not only my time but my attention. I am invested in the things that matter to them.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Over the course of my professional career I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients in a variety of settings. from school settings, residential/hospitalization, and private practice. Fortunately, I’ve been blessed to have a thriving practice since it’s inception. Due to my reputation and work in the community I gained counseling contracts with surrounding counties and support from local school districts. I’ve learned your reputation precedes you.

Love Therapy was founded in November 2013. The mission is to deliver quality treatment to all who seek therapeutic services through knowledge, support, and compassion, We strive to empower each person to meet their highest potential. The vision is guided by the commitment to provide a safe, nurturing environment for the community.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend and I were spending time in the LA area we would shop, eat and relax. We would start our day with a light breakfast, spend the afternoon on the beach and enjoy some delicious food on the pier.

Some of the restaurants we would checkout: Bubba Gump Shrimp Co,, Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles, Pink’s hot dogs and Del Frisco’s Grille.

We would also create time for a nice relaxing hot stone massage at Santa Monica Massage and Reflexology. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I believe we all have God ordained purpose. My purpose is to promote love, create change and empower people. What inspires me is my belief that every day is a new opportunity to create the change I want to see. One person, one action can have a lasting impact on the world.

In addition to my faith, the love and support of my husband has been a driving force in the continued success of my practice.
