We had the good fortune of connecting with Layla Sade and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Layla, how does your business help the community or world?
In holistic approach to medicine, we believe that our well-being relies not just on what’s going on in our body in terms of illness, but also on the close inter-relation of this with our psychological, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental state. This concept is rooted in the understanding that all these aspects affect your overall health, and being unwell in one aspect affects you in others. Take stress, for example. It’s a psychological response, but it can also cause physical symptoms, such as headaches, trouble sleeping, weight gain, and etc. Of course, it works both ways, and being physically ill can cause you to feel anxious or depressed. Meanwhile, your spirituality and your relationships can boost your mental and physical health. Studies show that having close friendships lowers your blood pressure, reduces your stress levels, and can even improve your chances of surviving cancer. By helping people to reach this optimum state of their well-being, we will have more happy, fulfilled, and healthy people living their best life!
What should our readers know about your business?
I have been a holistic coach for the past 12 years, and I can honestly say that my PASSION has become my PROFESSION in life. I have made such huge differences on what Health actually means to so many people. My clients have become my more roaring fans and I’m grateful for each and everyone of them putting their trusts in me. Getting to where i am today was not an easy road. when I started practicing holistic medicine, people would not be very receptive as they were looking for quick fixes, so they would not adhere to my programs for more than a week… but as i started educating more and more people, and once they saw the ever-lasting results, my name begun circulating amongst different communities and it brought me where i am today!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would love to take them to Greece, where I traveled 15 years ago. the history is just phenomenal, the people are the nicest, most fun and happy people on earth. Oh and the food, YUM! the most delicious, flavorful foods I have ever had. The views and beaches are just breathtaking and very romantic!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank Tony Robbins, Brene Brown, and Siri Lindley for inspiring me to live beyond my fears and achieve my goals.
