Meet Leandro Moric | Video Editor and Animator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Leandro Moric and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leandro, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always been drawn to the creative field from a young age. I would doodle around on my notebook as a kid, I’d shoot a couple home movies. I think the imagination is a very powerful thing and the process of imagining something and putting pen to paper (or tablet in my case) brings a real sense of joy and accomplishment for myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I mainly do my animations as a hobby. Sometimes it’s hard balancing work and life. It’s definitely not easy to set aside time to create these type of animations since they are very time consuming. I would say that the most important part is staying consistent and just starting something, whatever it is. Sometimes you’ll find inspiration along the way and then that’s when the real fun begins.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The beach for sure. Anywhere in the South Bay. Great restaurants, bars, the beach is beautiful. And of course, Blue Heaven on Earth! You must catch a Dodger game! (Pun intended)

I think just the whole creative social field as a whole. I love seeing what everyone creates and it’s a real source of inspiration. Also, shout out to WalkerTKL. His work is just incredible!
