We had the good fortune of connecting with DJ Geez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DJ Geez, how do you think about risk?
Taking a risk is how i was able to be apart of major events like B.e.t and even played an extra on creed 2 . Taking a risk help pushed my dj career foward a lot . The worst thing anyone can tell you is no and thats not even the worst thing .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my passion for music and my ability to perform. I’m most proud of how far from when i started djaying until now . Networking and having the courage to take on big events go me to where I’m today . It wasn’t easy but my determination to be successful help pushed me to reach out to people that could help flourish my career. The lessons I’ve learned along the way was to learn more about the music business and also to reach out if i need help instead of trying to do everything on my own. Basically I would like the world to know that none of this would’ve been possible without my faith in God and that played a huge part for my career

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Pennsylvania for the first time i would take them to downtown Philadelphia where we’ve a lot of exciting fun venues . We would also check out places like the art museum where Rocky ran up the steps and also important monuments as well. The night life is pretty fun as well . We’ve a lot of fun venues in Philadelphia like noto , roar , and plenty of lounges to drink or get good food .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my cousin horace simmons aka dj cue who inspired me to become a dj at an early age . Seeing him dj our family events motivated me to follow his footsteps. also i would like to shout out the Mrs Orlinda Drayton who also helped my music career by giving me a scholarship to attend her music school the George E Gregory Interdenominational school of music
