We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynnie Monae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lynnie, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The reason why I chose an artistic or creative career was simply because I use it to express myself through my fashion , dancing & lifestyle.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So as a YouTube Vlogger/ upcoming Influencer you sometimes see the same repetitive things such as clothing hauls , daily lifestyle , pranks and the list goes on. What makes me set apart from everyone else is my hard consistent work , my positive charismatic attitude , my confidence & my passion for it all. I’m really proud of how far I’ve come since first beginning my YouTube journey , I have a long journey ahead of me but I’m proud of how far I’ve came thus far.

How I got to where I am professionally with my channel was not an easy task I’ll be the first to say , it’s so much that goes into creating content and being in front of people with your camera recording & people looking at you strange all you could do is laugh or try to engage in a conversation with them , you at times get nasty feedback and the list goes on you just have to keep moving forward & try not to give in to the “sometimes” nasty comments. It has definitely shaped me in a good way. I’ll be the first to say it wasn’t easy but you just have to remember who your doing it for ? & where you want this to go in life ?

Sometimes giving folks the answer or attitude they want isn’t even worth it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my Bestfriend was visiting the area for about a week or so we would have a blast. First and foremost we would be going to brunch at Schooner or later which is located in Longbeach Ca by the water the best mimosas EVER. I’ll then take her around the surrounding cities such as Manhattan beach & the beaches that are around to get in some water , soak up some good California Sun. We would most definitely hit Hollywood & check out this restaurant called Kitchen 24 which is a restaurant that’s open 24hours of course & they have good drinks , food , entertainment & you meet really nice people. Definitely would want to check out the Museum of Ice Cream if it’s in town , a great Museum for great pictures of course & Ice Cream & just simply great vibes.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my late Mother Rosa Golden. Without her none of this would be possible.
