We had the good fortune of connecting with Madison Shamoun and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Madison, what are you inspired by?
People for sure. People inspire me the most.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m still a work in progress. It hasn’t been, and still isn’t an easy road. I learn something new every day. This industry is challenging and I always say, “new levels new devils,” because that’s what it feels like. A videogame. Some levels are easier than others, sometimes you spend months on a level and it feels like you aren’t making any progress. But I do know that consistent hard work – showing up day after day, over time, will result in opportunity.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Omg where to begin! This might be the most LA response ever but I would say let’s start with a workout class like Barrys or Pilates. Then bottomless mimosas in Santa Monica, and a walk along the beach. We’d have to grab a cbd blue spirulina latte, and get an amazing facial at Bijou Beauty. After that I’d say let’s stop by an NKLA animal shelter and give some love to fur babies. Then we could head to Nics on Beverly or Crossroads for a delicious dinner, and end the day with a movie or a live performance. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
WOW! I don’t think I can pick just 1 person to shoutout, I have to list em all off. My partner, my family, friends, teachers and mentors. Anyone who’s supported me, or believed in me. Truly – if you’ve ever given me even a word of encouragement – I can tell you it meant the world!
