We had the good fortune of connecting with Marcia Cueva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marcia, what are you inspired by?
God gives us gifts and He blessed me with heavenly talent to design. The Holy Spirit leads me supernaturally to envision all of my unique creations.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
In 2007, I received a prophesy during a bible study about how God was going to use me. So began this journey, my faith walk, which would result in my forming this company, +JC777 by Marcia Cueva. I began researching the word of God, fasting, praying, and seeking Him continuously about His plan for me. This was a time of intense physical, personal and spiritual growth; a tremendous learning experience. I began to see how God was removing things from my life, and changing and developing my character. God is a god of order, and He was preparing me for the next step in my walk.

I received my foundational scripture, Deuteronomy 6:4-9, and God began to lead me supernaturally, step by step, through the Holy Spirit.. He opened and closed many doors, and led me to successful Christian business people who assisted me along the way. This was particularly important as I had no previous business experience. They generously shared their knowledge, expertise and business connections with me. God also moved miraculously in business transactions. This allowed to experience complete peace thorough the inevitable tests and trials that came. God presented me with these experiences to teach me to persevere (Philippians 4:13). He has given me the strength and resolve to continue forward in this endeavor. I realize now that God had been training and preparing me to be a businessperson (Jeremiah 29: 11)

The purpose of my collection is to share the word of God. My vision is to plant the seed of God’s word in people’s lives and to share the redemptive works of Christ through my designs. The “JC” in my logo is, of course, Jesus Christ. In the bible, the number 7 represents perfection and completeness; the three 7’s refers to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three 7’s also have a personal significance, as I was married on the 7th day of the month, and my children were both born on the 7th day of their month. The red cross in my logo symbolizes the shed blood of Jesus on the cross, blue in my logo signifies baptism, and the color black represents dying to oneself.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My first home in this country was in Seal Beach and to this day it is one of my favorite cities. I have so many fond memories of growing up there, I used to ride my bike to the pier every day. The beaches are beautiful, and the sunsets are amazing. In old town, there is an eclectic collection of little shops and cool boutiques with a little something for everyone. Seal beach has a ton of wonderful places to eat, but my favorite place to grab a bite is in Sunset Beach at The Harbor House Café. It is a super old school, surf-shack type of diner right next to the beach. Everything on their enormous menu is delicious but I would 100% recommend ordering one of the omelets.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I was always aware that none of this could be possible without the supernatural intervention and leading of God. My guiding scriptures were Proverbs 3:5, 6, and Psalms 32:8, which are also my favorites. I learned to trust God and in His provision in everything I encounter. His guidance and grace were truly sufficient for all my needs. This allowed to experience complete peace thorough the inevitable tests and trials that came. Above and beyond anything, all of the credit and glory of my accomplishments goes to God

I am also incredibly fortunate to have had the endless encouragement and moral support of my family. They have been an immeasurable source of unconditional strength and love.
