We had the good fortune of connecting with Marie C. Zoutomou-Quintanilla and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marie C., what role has risk played in your life or career?
I think in order for us to grow in business and in our personal lives we sometimes have to take risks. I always feel like I’m taking a risk with any new business venture because the initial labor put into the project always seems to conflict with time spent in the family setting. I want my career to grow, but not at the expense of sacrifice of family. Taking risks in my career is something that I have always done, I started my radio show to inspire and motivate others. The first nine months I invested my own money and a lot of my time. But after nine months I now have business sponsoring my show. So, I took the risk of paying $500 a week for air time but because I believe in myself it ended up paying off. I’m now in a position where the show is doing better than ever and that’s because I took the risk in the first place.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
