Hi Marina, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
My parents told me, if I wanted to travel the world, I should find a job that can sponsor it…

While they weren’t entirely wrong, this kind of thinking is outdated & limiting.

I grew up dreaming of traveling the world.

All I wanted to do was be in the Fashion industry, get sent on trips sponsored by big companies whiling living in New York or Paris. (Which I did & hated btw!)

When I was getting ready to go to university, I searched google for “jobs that allow you to travel” & “international companies to work for”

And in my search/surroundings, I didn’t see anyone traveling because they created this lifestyle for themselves.

It was always sponsored by someone, a brand, or their job.

What I didn’t understand at the time is that to get to that level, you had to get over few hurdles first:

1. You had to work your way up the corporate ladder to be valuable enough to be sent on all expenses paid work trips.

2. But even then, those trips are short & they make sure you work for your money!

3. You can earn a lot of money & still not be able to travel because your vacation time is limited & you can’t take more than 1 week off at a time

I definitely didn’t have the patience nor the desire for ass-kissing to reach those levels incorporate just to live my dreams 😩

I was determined to prove to my parents (& to society) that YOU CAN indeed create a lifestyle business that supports your dreams of traveling the world…

ON MY OWN TERMS!

I’m currently sponsoring my own damn self.

Super proud of the fact that I can earn, live, travel anytime anywhere & biz expense it too!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a brand strategist, coach, and world traveler!

Obsessed with living a freedom-filled life on my terms, I’ve been traveling the world for the past 7 years. My adventures inspired me to start my platform—Livin Vivaciously.

I’m a proud corporate dropout passionate about helping freedom-obsessed women and entrepreneurs build true-to-self personal brands.

I have worked various jobs from sales to marketing to fashion design at well-known companies like Estee Lauder, Victoria’s Secret, and CURLS Beauty Brands, My diverse experience helped me create my unique business offers and services where I’m able to create complete brand and marketing strategies that take my clients from idea to cash in an authentic way.

I believe that personal branding is the only way we can build pivot-proof businesses that thrive, simply because we are who we are, online and offline!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ooo tough one! I basically have no home base and travel full time.

At the moment I’m in Medellin, Colombia, which is stunning btw! I’d take them out to eat at the hip restaurants in El Poblado, we would get drinks at Repeat, seriously some of the most Instagrammable drinks I’ve seen, and we’d end the night at a fun bar like Bar Chiquita…the interiors of this bar look like you’ve entered a fantasy land!
