Hi Mark Todd, what do you attribute your success to?

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been a Colorist in the Television & Motion Picture business for 22 years now. I help give a creative look to feature films, commercials, television shows for broadcast and theatrical. Getting to where I am has not been easy. It has been a lot of hard work, persistence and a little bit of luck every now and then. My Brand in this industry is a little different from other colorists for the fact that I am an “A” level colorist (having come from a major Post Facility) who is mobile and free to work wherever I am needed. I am called to work for post houses and all over Los Angeles and abroad. I now do a lot of work out of my own company MTO Color inc..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love taking my clients for lunch here in the South Bay Beach Cities area where my color bay is. There are some great restaurants & bars in the nearby Riviera Village, just blocks from the beach at Redondo.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes. A Shoutout to all my clients, new and old, that keep coming back to me, giving me the chance to bring my artistry to their Feature Films, TV Shows, Commercials & Branded Content.
