Meet Masha Titova | CEO & Founder of TITOV

We had the good fortune of connecting with Masha Titova and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Masha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a production manager at Yeezy, I was working long hours traveling to manufacturing facilities. In the middle of a 109° day, wires digging in and boob sweat in all, I took off my bra at work. Embarrassed and annoyed I made it my mission to create lingerie that doesn’t distract me from my busy life.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created TITOV to create a feeling of celebrating the first thing in the morning. I cherish everyday luxuries and wanted to make sure I was able to give the same feeling to as many women as possible. I create undergarments fit for special occasions, but comfortable to wear every day. Centering on inclusive sizing, by starting on day one with 3x the typical amount offered by other lingerie brands.
TITOV’s mission is for women to feel comfortable without loosing their style or sense of sexiness. TITOV is dedicated in not only creating inclusive sizing, but doing so sustainably. By sourcing dead stock fabrics, and working on a made-to-order model to limit over production. Since Launching 2 years ago, I have never been so tired, but also so incredibly fulfilled. Starting a company is 100x harder than anyone could possibly begin to explain, and you have to be a little bit crazy to go through with it. And let’s just say I’ve always had a little crazy in me.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am the #1 spokesperson for Silverlake Ramen, and I take everyone there. It’s probably my favorite food spot, period. I’ll take any excuse to go to The Getty, followed by dinner at Laurel Hardware and drinks at Employees Only.
Overall my favorite past time is grabbing food, some favorites are Chi Spacca, Nice Guys, Night & Market, Catch La, & Hugo’s food truck in the citi bank parking lot in Silverlake.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
What a question! I’m so grateful for the amazing people in my life that have helped me on this journey. My family has been the biggest support, that I appreciate more than words can describe. The book that gave me the final push to start was Shoe Dog, and I have the most incredible support from organizations I’m apart of like Section4, Morning Brew Accelerator & The 10th House.
