We had the good fortune of connecting with Matté and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Matté, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be one of greatness. I want to be considered a visionary who wasn’t afraid to think outside the box and do things differently. I want to be known as a pioneer, someone who opened doors, challenged the norm, and created something lasting that inspired others to believe in their own voice.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a blend of everything I love: singing, dancing, acting, and writing. It’s all part of how I express my vision. I see myself as a visionary, someone who doesn’t just perform but creates worlds through storytelling, sound, and movement.
What I’m most proud of is that I’m still doing it. In an industry that can wear you down, I’ve stayed committed to showing up for my craft and honoring my ideas at the highest level I can. That in itself is a win. What sets me apart? My authenticity. My voice. I’ve studied music seriously, and I layer that knowledge into everything I create. There’s depth, emotion, and intention. I’m not just doing what’s trendy, I’m telling stories that are true to me. And hey, let’s be real, I look good, I smell good, and the art reflects that energy too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For Food-
Ysabel – restaurant

Annie’s Soul Delicious – restaurant

For my crew that comes to town, these are my must-stops.
Pirates Cove Beach
Griffith park
And Imma take them to Pilates at La Gree!
