We had the good fortune of connecting with Mayeva Prophete and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mayeva, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by all the efforts my mom made and is still making for me. I am inspired by my own self, my mental health and resiliency. I was hospitalized back in august on a 24 hour hold. Now I am providing mental health services, about to start a new business and graduate soon, and I just reached 10k followers on Instagram! I just married the love of my life and I’m more aware of things now. I never ever thought I could be here today. So i guess, i am inspired by myself!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an influencer and I am about to launch my own business hopefully in spring!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love going to auntie’s cafe in Whittier and Oasis in Van nuys!!
