We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael and Amanda Quinones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael and Amanda, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We started off looking for a Venue for our own Wedding. We couldn’t find anything we loved or envisioned; anywhere in Los Angeles. We built an office in our basement with a vision board and planned for two years during the pandemic. Everything we wanted at our Wedding Venue was on this board. White and Gold esthetic, White Glitter Floors, Gold Glitter Floors, a Swarovski Glass Slipper, Huge Crystal Chandeliers, European, Palace of Versailles inspired but after everything opened up we found a place in Los Angeles. Everything that was on the vision board is has come to life at The Glass Slipper Palace. From having a Venue to have your Wedding, Quinceanera, Sweet 16, or Special Event to having a Photoshoot/Video Shoot for any type of Music Videos, TV Shows, Production, or personal Photoshoot, It’s like a dream come true seeing our clients use our Venue…

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are both creative people. From being part of one of the biggest bands in the world, LMFAO. To being a Youtuber/Social Media Influencer with brand deals, this has definitely set us up with so much knowledge. Being in the IT Industry as well along with the service industry, everything combined helped us bring our dreams into a reality. Not giving up and not being afraid to take the Entrepreneur leap was a big challenge. Trusting your gut and believing in your brand, vision, and goal is the most important thing.

Branding is everything. It is amazing to create such a Luxury Venue and Photo Studio in Downtown Los Angeles where someone can take a photo anywhere in the Palace and you will know.. “Oh, they were at The Glass Slipper Palace.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well first we would take them to The Glass Slipper Palace of course. Give them the Royal Tour and maybe a mini photoshoot. Eating at Habachiana LA for lunch would be great then checking out a Lakers or Dodgers game. Ending the night with a few drinks at the rooftop of The Hoxton Hotel over looking Downtown Los Angeles would be the best way to end the night.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Running a mile everyday helped clear our minds and invision the future. We cut out all negative energy, people and some even close to us to help focus on the end goal. Which was opening The Glass Slipper Palace. The books below really helped along the way as well.
