Meet Michael Odermatt | Psychic Pianist (Dust of Soul)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Odermatt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Music is the universal language. Everything is frequency and vibration, everything is sound. Singing Psychic Medium Saskia and me as the Psychic Pianist form the duo “Dust of Soul”. We “channel” your soul into a song in the healing frequency of 432 Hertz, a harmonic of the earth’s natural vibration known as the “Schumann Resonance”. Soul Songs are a great way for people to hear their soul “sing”, to align with it and understand what their soul needs at the moment because we understand music not only intellectually but emotionally and physically as it is vibration. Your Soul Song is the voice of your soul because we channel your Soul Song at your natural soul frequency.
“Equipping people with their Soul Song” creates a positive change and has such a huge impact on people’s lives. When you experience a Soul Song channeling, it is just the opening session of your “Soul Song Journey”. We professionally record the Soul Song and give it to you in a music file so that you can listen to your Soul Song again after the session and align with your soul frequency when you need to. You can meditate with your Soul Song, hum to it, sing to it, dance to it. Whatever feels right for you.
You will know when your “work is done” with your Soul Song. Maybe that time comes after a few days, a week, a month, a year. Everyone is different.

What should our readers know about your business?
Channeling Soul Songs has always been at the core of what I do, but it has certainly evolved into the “product” of Saskia and my 12-year journey around the world (US, Europe, North Africa, Middle East, India) and how we experience a tremendous response to help, support and guide people because we see and feel how “empowering people with their Soul Song” creates such a positive change and impact on people’s lives.

A journalist once wrote about us: “Dust of Soul goes where no one else goes”. This is very true for us as we are following our “calling”. For example, we followed our Facebook community that initially grew in Tunisia and initiated charity concerts in Tunis to give hope after the revolution. Although we faced a death threat on our first trip, we summoned our strength and decided that our mission was more important.
We answered the call of a Tunisian engineer from Muscat who suggested we come to Oman because its Sultan loves music.
While these and many other decisions are not “our laid out plans,” we trust our guidance and that our universe is our “manager”. We trust that what we need will present itself in the form of a task, and then we “take on the assignment”. Even though it may not make sense at first, we trust that it will. And it always does.
I have always viewed “life” as the most appropriate university and best learning environment for me. Although I feel like the “curriculum” tends to be ahead of me, it turns out that when I fully surrender and embrace the tools and help offered to me, I am always ready for the task.

For the past 12 years, I have always relied on my Soul Songs, the music that Saskia and I channel for our own journey. Sometimes it takes a month or up to a year to “work with a Soul Song”, sometimes a week or many years. Whenever a new song comes into our lives, we know that the current transformation is about it. We always dive deep and take it seriously.
We channel Soul Songs in the natural soul frequency vibration that is connected to the higher self. And listening to Soul Songs helps to align with the frequency vibration of the higher self. We all “shift with sound,” and it’s quick, easy, and super powerful.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely walk the beaches of Santa Monica, feel the invigorating ocean breeze and take in the horizon, have lunch at Fig Tree Restaurant on the Venice boardwalk, explore the vibrant energy, creativity and diversity of Venice, stroll down Main Street in Santa Monica, visit the Mystic Journey Bookstore for some inspiration, maybe a book or a crystal, enjoy afternoon tea at Urth Café, watch the sunset at Santa Monica Pier and take a ride on the Ferris wheel after sunset.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I met Saskia, the singing psychic medium, at the train station in Lucerne in July 2012. When I saw her walking towards me, I knew immediately: “This is it!” Although I had no idea what that meant at the time, I felt my life change at that very moment. The wait was over, the search was over. I found what I was looking for. But more importantly, I found myself.
Together with Saskia, I embarked on our journey called “Dust of Soul” that would make us what we are today: a dynamic duo channeling soul songs for individuals, groups, communities and large audiences. It all comes down to the core of “Your Soul has a Song.”

When Saskia showed me her very first melody she channeled during a backpacking trip to New York after surviving a sudden and unexpected brain stroke with left-sided paralysis at the age of 29, I recognized her melody: I ​​realized that I had played this melody on the piano in my childhood. I listened to the entire voice recording on headphones the day we met, opened my eyes, looked at her and said: I know exactly what to play. And when I played “my song” to “her melody” in my rehearsal room two days later, she said it was exactly what she heard.
After that, it took us some time to understand that our “Soul Song” had brought us together.

For 12 years, Saskia has been by my side and has accompanied me on my spiritual journey, a journey that started with us letting go of our homes and possessions, reducing our lives to a suitcase and following our inner compass.
While writing a musical in New York, initiating concerts of hope in Tunisia through Facebook, dedicating a channeled song to His Majesty, the Sultan of Oman, and performing it at the City Amphitheater in Muscat on the 48th Oman National Day, opening the MTV India Unplugged show for Bollywood superstar Ayushmann Khurrana, I learned that all these successes were only possible through hundreds of small stepping stones, awakening moments, challenging environments, overcoming life-threatening situations and many moments of fear that fueled personal, emotional and spiritual growth so that I am now in Los Angeles and can offer channeled Soul Songs.

With Saskia, I have had the perseverance and patience with myself to go beyond my imagination and expectations so many times in life. I am grateful for everything Saskia has shown me, be it to open up, to trust my intuition, but above all to always do what I love: playing the piano.

Dust of Soul is more than the two of us: it is hundreds of people we have met all over the world over the last 12 years. People like Miryam, the very first Tunisian fan who contacted us via Facebook; Kabeer and Lakshmi, two Indian journalists in Oman who listened to our story and put us in touch with the right people; Tim, director of the famous white castle Château Gütsch in Switzerland, who opened the door for us to host numerous concerts; Yash, Bollywood actor who starred in our music video in Mumbai; Jeffrey, owner of Mystic Journey Bookstore here in Los Angeles, who hosts Soul Song events… We are so humbled to realize that everyone is a piece of the puzzle. Every Soul Song counts and moves us forward as a collective.
