Meet Michelle Adams | Owner of Sex Fox & RocknRoll Productions, Director, Producer, Writer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michelle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly, my thought process in starting my own business was that I did not want to continue to work for someone else. I wanted to get into a business that was both creative and artistic yet I could tell my stories through documentaries involving music and other artistic individuals.
Once I started my production company Sex Fox & RocknRoll Productions, LLC, I knew I wanted to do a rockumentary (as I call it) about one of the MOST talented musicians in the world and that is Stoney Curtis.

What should our readers know about your business?
My production company, Sex Fox & RocknRoll Productions is named after my radio show on 22.3 Take Over Vegas Radio. I felt like I wanted to name my company after my show as they both represent me and my brand. The company has been up and running close to a year now and has so many opportunities to be successful.
I think the creative projects that I am involved in sets my production company apart from so many others. I am working on very interesting and creative projects as well. There will be at least five more documentaries made, a reality show and assisting in shooting locations for film and television in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is an exciting town and there are so many movies and TV shows that are filmed here.
Right now, I am excited to direct, produce and write my rockumentary about Stoney Curtis. This is my first film and fell in love with the process as soon as we started shooting. It has been a dream of mine for so long to get into making films and Stoney graciously gave me the opportunity to create this project and get inside the process of doing a documentary about something I am so passionate about and that is music.
I am proud of the fact that I have hustled and made a dream come true. I love that fact that I have been through so much health-wise and career-wise and kept pursing this particular dream. I had to keep believing that one day it would happen and God placed my Core Four in my life and everything we do on this project shows me how it is truly meant to be. I want people to know that I give my all to anything I do and my company and my brand will be no different. I plan on succeeding and moving my business forward because the possibilities are truly endless!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a best friend was coming to Las Vegas, we would be up the entire time! My favorite places to hang out are bars that have the best rock music! Counts Vamp’d is the best rock bar in the city. The energy there plus the musicians that play there are the best! The food is awesome, the staff is great and the owners make sure that everyone has a blast. The Rock Star Bar is another cool spot that has so many talented musician play good rock music. There is a very cool bar called the Artifice and its downtown Las Vegas with the dreamiest cocktails. The lounge acts at the Westgate, the MGM and a lot of other places on the strip can keep you out dancing all night in this town. The San Dollar is a great and historical venue to listen to blue and jazz bands.
I love to hang out and see hockey games with the Las Vega Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas is so happy to have a professional hockey team and the fans give 100000% support. They are so devoted to their team and this town. There are so many amazing places to eat. My favorites are The Sparkings, any of Th Bar locations and inside the casinos there are a million restaurants to chose from. With regards to breakfast, I stay loyal to a local place called Munch Box. Born and is a local fun place to eat, gamble and drink 24 hours. I love local bars around town such as Sagos, Mad Matty’s and Lakeside Charlies. Thes are really cool places that are open 24 hours and serve the best food all day and night.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I absolutely have to give my shout outs to what I call “My Core Four”. I wouldn’t be able to make this rockumentary without Stoney Curtis, Ashley Larson, Zehra Abdi, Esq. and Mike Varney. These individuals are my biggest supporters of my film entitled “For the Love of Blue and Rock and Roll – Stoney Curtis: A Legend in the Making”. Stoney was so generous to allow me to do a film about him and his music. Ashley Larson is my film maker who I am eternally grateful to as well. She is showing and teaching me how to get this rockumentary created and she sees my vision. Zehra Abdi, Esq. is an amazing attorney who is overseeing my business. She is an excellent entertainment lawyer and also a dear friend. Mike Varney is the owner of Shrapnel Records and has become not only somewhat of a mentor but also a friend. Stoney is on his record label and they are very close. This team is the reason I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to make this rocumentary.
