We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Lewis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always been a very curious and creative person, two qualities that serve me well as an entrepreneur but also made working for other people terribly confining. I often felt like I was being stifled and dumbed-down, which was both soul crushing and infuriating!

I wanted to do work that felt meaningful and let me express my talents and gifts to help others. The best way for me to have some control and personal satisfaction was to get creative and find a way to build my own business, so that’s what I did.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work as a Witch is really a story of personal growth, deep healing, and the path of rediscovering the power that exists inside all of us.

I first trained as a Life Coach, which in many ways helped me find direction on my own terms. It gave me the confidence to trust myself and work with many different people, and it supported my natural ability to see the best in others.

Eventually my path would lead me back to the things that made me feel the happiest when I was a kid: witchcraft and all things magickal! Now, I get to fulfill my dreams and go all-in on myself, my visions, and my passion for helping others find their happiness.

I get to connect with the energy and essence of everything: plants, animals, rocks, water, fire, air, wind… the moon in all of her phases… the sun and stars… and of course people!

I’ve learned to develop and use my psychic and spiritual gifts to share important messages, offer direction, and navigate life’s challenges. It’s an honor, privilege and pure joy to serve as a guide to my clients and support them in their own sacred journey.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First of all, you’ll find us eating the BEST Mexican food at Tacos de Birria Estillo Guadalajara. The quesatacos are unbelievable! It’s a hidden gem in Lake Forest. We really are spoiled for great Mexican food.

A visit to Southern California isn’t complete without a little time in the Pacific Ocean. We could spend the day relaxing on the beach, or get more active and get out on the water. Boating, kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, surfing or whatever you want. We can even cruise over to Catalina Island for a great little getaway.

Maybe you want to do something different? It’s just a 2 hour drive to visit the desert in Palm Springs for a kitschy cool time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m dedicating this Shoutout to Nicole Lewis-Keeber, my beloved cousin and soul-sister. She has been such an inspiration, advocate, sounding board, and bestie throughout this journey. You really must check her out! She’s doing phenomenal work around the intersection of trauma and entrepreneurship.
