Meet Morgan Sabrina | Director of Public Relations at Society22

We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Sabrina and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Morgan, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
In the PR world, there are many things that outsiders are unaware of. But I think the most common thing I find outsiders unaware of is the amount of research, analysis, and planning that goes into creating a successful PR campaign for their brand. There is always so much more behind-the-scenes work that goes into everything, from crafting a great press release to creating a compelling story to pitch on the client’s behalf. We also have to be intimately familiar with our client’s industries, target audiences, and competitors. We conduct extensive research and analysis to ensure our strategies are informed and backed by data and insights, it’s what helps us to create campaigns that land top-tier coverage in publications like Forbes, Insider, and TechCrunch. I’ve spent countless hours behind the scenes building relationships with journalists and media outlets, which many have often taken several years of hard work and trust-building with them. And lastly, the PR world is forever evolving, and in order to keep up, we have to be on our toes, keeping a lookout for any new trends, breaking news, and even best practices; it’s the only way to stay ahead of the curve and be able to guarantee your clients amazing results.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a PR Director in Los Angeles, I have had the privilege of working with some amazing clients and seeing firsthand the impact that a well-executed public relations can have on their success.
One of the things that sets me apart from others in my field is my passion for building genuine relationships with both my clients and the media. I believe that effective PR is all about connecting people and telling compelling stories, and I work hard to build trust and rapport with everyone I work with.
I am most proud of the results I have been able to achieve for my clients. Whether securing high-profile media coverage, planning successful events, or managing a crisis, I always strive to go above and beyond to deliver results that exceed my client’s expectations.
Getting to where I am today professionally has definitely not been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. I started my career in PR as an intern while I was still in college, and I quickly realized that this was the industry I wanted to be in. I worked my way up through the ranks, taking on increasingly challenging roles and building my skills and experience along the way.
One of the biggest challenges I have faced is managing the demanding and sometimes unpredictable nature of the industry. PR can be fast-paced and high-stress, but I have learned to stay calm under pressure and prioritize my workload effectively.
Along the way, I have learned many valuable lessons that have helped me to grow both personally and professionally. Perhaps the most important lesson I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability. The media landscape is constantly evolving, and staying ahead of the curve requires a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, platforms, and trends.
Ultimately, what I want the world to know about me and my brand is that we are committed to excellence, integrity, and results. We believe in the power of PR to make a real difference in people’s lives, and we are passionate about helping our clients achieve their goals.
