Meet Ms. Kash | Musical Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ms. Kash and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ms. Kash, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
The habit that has helped me succeed, is staying consistent. I’m a firm believer that anytime you work hard and stay consistent at anything, you’ll eventually accomplish whatever goals you’ve set for yourself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This musical journey is full of ups and downs. I seem to overcome the challenges by just focusing on my love for music. I think being as passionate as I am is definitely one of the things that sets me apart from other artists. One of the lessons I’ve learned in this industry is to always trust the emotions I have behind a song. In other words not allowing anyone to dictate how or what I should say. I feel that my authenticity is what my listeners appreciate most about me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite spots is the Mondrian hotel in Hollywood. We can enjoy pool parties, the nightclub and restaurants all in one place. We can also go right up the street and grab the best chicken tacos at Pinches!! Highly recommended!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to send a huge shoutout to my high school drama teacher Mrs. Feilder! She was the first person in my life to not only believe in my talents, but she also encouraged me and gave me a platform to use them. She allowed me to use my writing skills to write scripts for our school plays, put together talent shows and so much more! She definitely gave me the confidence booster I needed in my life at that time. I will always have a special place in my heart for her. I’d also like to give a shoutout to my engineer Randy Ross. He is so dope at what he does! I come up with all kinds of crazy ideas in the studio, but he always listens and helps to bring out the best in each song. We have like this unspoken creative language that can only be understood through the music. The outcome of the song speaks for us. I truly appreciate him for his patience, creativity and for understanding my wacky ideas lol.
