We had the good fortune of connecting with Mystique Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mystique, what do you want your legacy to be?
Well hello again voyage LA world!! To start off, I’m so honored and grateful to have another feature in this amazing magazine. Thank you so much for having me. Creating a legacy and “Top tier” Name for myself is something that is extremely important to me. To be a pioneer in the modeling and entertainment industry along with inspiring people all over the world to follow their dreams is my number one dream and goal. My passion for modeling runs deeper than just the art itself. But to know that I can inspire the world to follow what ever dreams they may have by accomplishing my own goals, having faith, ambition, promoting self-confidence, and self love, and turning my very own dreams into reality., That’s where the passion and drive comes from for me. I would just want my legacy to be meaningful, powerful, and inspiring. What I would want people to remember about me is just my story and the faith that I had in my dreams and ambitions. I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am today and I’m still working to get to the very tip top.. lol Having faith and believing in myself has played a dynamic role in my success. I would want people to remember that my FAITH PROMOTED my SUCCESS! You can have faith in literally anything. You just have to always think positive! But it’s most important to have lots of faith in yourself. Your dream, always believe in it. Trust me, every day won’t be perfect. But every day is another day to become a better version of YOU. Every day is another day closer to your dream. But you have to work, and work hard. Believe in yourself and always stay dedicated. Believe in your gifts and have crazy faith! I said this in my previous voyage LA feature; “ No one is going to chance you out like you!” I ultimately would want people to remember that when it Came to me following my dreams, I gave MYSELF a chance. I want people to use that as aspiration and inspiration in remembrance of me. Again, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of something so amazing and monumental. I love my voyageLa family! My heart is so full.. Thank you.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a model. I’ve been modeling for 3 years. I’m not signed yet so I represent myself, but my plans are to get signed by a major modeling/entertainment industry very soon. I’ve been modeling for 3 years. I do runway and I’m published in 8 magazines. Including malvie and Picton magazine. ( international) Im also a singer and a dancer. The challenges that I’ve had to overcome have most definitely NOT been easy at all. All of the “ No’s” and the “your not exactly what we’re looking for” has most definitely made me stronger in this industry and life itself. It hasn’t been easy at all but I wouldn’t trade this journey for the world!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ok! So I’m from Los Angeles Ca. So In my opinion, my hometown is just Epic. There so many places that I love to just go to and vibe out. Like “The abbey”.Its a lbgtq friendly bar that I’ve been going to for years! I’ve even met ppl in the industry there! Absolutely one of my favorite spots to be free and network. But overall! LA IS HOME! There nothing dule or settle about my hometown so wherever you go you Are in GOOD hands! Lol. I LOVE MY HOMETOWN.. (Los angeles)
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out the head of my life which Is God! He most definitely plays a major role in my success along with my mother who passed when I was 15. She was absolutely my number one fan and believed in my everything! I also want to shout out my Adoptive mother who also supports my every move. She is my rock. My number one support system. My “rider”. Lol. Also. I would also like to shoutout my older brother Joseph Theus. He recently passed away but he was my biggest supporter as well. He believed in me so much and always rooted me on. His encouragement and his beautiful spirit will be missed extremely. Also,Each and every photographer or videographer I’ve collaborated with! They too also play a major part in my success. I’m so thankful for all of the beautiful souls I’ve been honored to cross paths with! And of course my VOYAGELA family. Thank you guys so much for believing in me and blessing me with a bigger platform to promote myself. My heart is so full with gratefulness. Thank you for trusting my story. You all mean so much to me.
