We had the good fortune of connecting with Naaman Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naaman, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is catching my audiences attention with my sound. I strive for my sound to be different from other producers so that the average listener is caught by surprise , wondering who they are listening to.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other producers is my creativity. I am a diverse person and I have alot of musical experiences under my belt so i use all of those moments to create something that is worth listening to. Along the way i have learned to keep doing what im doing. Someone will notice my work ethic one day and it will blast off from there. No matter what anyone thinks , I will always have the drive to keep pushing no matter what comes my way. What i want the world to know about my brand is that if you tune in , I won’t disappoint you . Take a journey with me.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friends and family to the heart of LA . You can feel the pulse of the city just about anywhere in LA.We would eat at The red chickz. I love the taste of the tenders and french toast.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to take the time to shoutout my supportive family. From my Wife to my brother to my friends, they have all been there since the start. I really appreciate all of the time and effort that all my family has put into believing in me and my craft. It puts a huge smile on my face when i know that i have a whole support team behind me cheering me on to do what makes me genuinely happy.
